"I was approached by Sam from ASA about 3 years ago and asked to give my
opinion on his intake system for the 1st gen Cummins. At the time I had laid
down one of the highest dyno numbers for a daily street driven 1st gen. The
ASA Intake system not only looked nice but was easy to install. The first
thing I noticed when I pulled out onto the road was the turbo whistle was much
louder. I liked that!!! The other thing I noticed was the truck felt a little
stronger. Another bonus!!! Well I was sold.
A
little later I ran my truck on our dyno and did a back to back comparison to
my stock/modified intake housing and noticed that the power did come in approx
100 rpm sooner and approx 3-5 hp across the dyno sheet. Not huge numbers, but
I will take more useable power for a everyday driven or competition truck any
day.
We have been supporting Sam since that day and will continue to sell his fine
product".
